You’re Invited: Ozarks Unbound gives away Google Wave invites

Contest — By Christopher Spencer on November 27, 2009 at 12:04 PM

Care to give a try to what some call the future of online communication? Just leave a comment below with your e-mail and I’ll send you an invite. I’ve got 14 to hand out.

Google Wave is still in beta but I can see just how cool of a tool it will be in the future. It really does combine e-mail and instant message chatting with all the attachment and sharing capabilities of a social network. The biggest drag right now is that you log on, but there aren’t many folks using it yet.

Hopefully, that will change.

Here’s a video with a brief overview of what Google Wave can do.

Done. You’re invited, Morgan. It might take a few days for it to move through the system, but you should be able to log in to Google Wave fairly soon.

I have been trying to get an invite for months. If there are any left I would love one. Lvratto@gmail.com
The ability to collaborate on projects and documents has always intrigued me and as an amateur musician, songwriter, I have dabbled with collaboration in the past through FL Studio products, but always felt that the lack of community made the experience a novelty at best. I hope Google Wave changes this.

If anyone still wants one I have been inspired by all of the great posts offering free wave invites to launch a tiny site that semi automates the process at webshare.org you can ask for invites, and if you have some to share then you can do that too.

  • Christopher Spencer says:
    November 28, 2009 at 11:11 AM

Thanks so much, Jonathan. Let me know if I can do anything to help you share those invites.
