WashCo Sheriff’s Office: Missing woman’s body found in White River

Missing Person – BODY RECOVERED
Washington County Sheriff Tim Helder announced today the body of missing person Elizabeth HOLLOWELL, W/F, 21 has been recovered.
On July 11, 2009 at 12:30 p.m. the body of missing person Elizabeth HOLLOWELL was recovered in the same area of the White River where witnesses stated she went under water and never resurfaced. A member of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office dive team located the body approximately 25 feet below the surface. The body will be sent to the Arkansas State Crime Lab in Little Rock to determine Cause of Death.
The Washington County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Benton County Water Rescue team, the Benton County Sheriff’s Office dive team and Hickory Creek Volunteer Fire Department.
