This community-building event engages participants to be involved in planning, building and managing community gardens.
This workshop is a kick-off to initiate a Community Garden at Walker Park. If you are interested in gardening at Walker Park or would like to engage your community to start a garden in your neighborhood or nearby park, then attend this workshop to learn more!
Learn about Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) and how it can be used to start a garden at the Walker Senior Center. Utilize the ABCD skills to start community gardens in other neighborhoods.
