COMMENT: Heath Druzin, a reporter for the military newspaper Stars and Stripes, was not permitted to embed himself with the U.S. Army’s 1st Cavalry Division. The reason cited was because of his biased coverage in the past. Stars and Stripes staff says this violates their editorial independence as mandated by Congress.
