Seventh Week Sneak | From the Publisher’s Laptop

Ozarks Unbound

Finally got a few stories written this week. I was able to make it to a discussion of light rail that was very well attended. I also got a chance to finish a profile on Fayetteville artist Basil Seymour-Davies.

You can expect more original content in the near future. It’s what I love doing. Couple that with the fantastic column writers we have here and things are going great.

Many thanks to Kyle Kellams of KUAF for a week’s worth of Songbook entries. His taste were broad, and his samples were the best from many genres. I enjoyed it very much. This week I will be doing seven entries on the music in commercials. I hope you like it.

Behind the scenes, I’ve been working on my web design skills. I’m almost settled on a calendar that we can use to provide a list of what’s going on in the Ozarks. Also, some minor tweaks are planned to the home page of Ozarks Unbound before the major revamp sometime in late August.

Thanks for keeping an eye on us during these early and admittedly awkward first weeks. We’re finding our way slowly but surely. Any advice is welcome. Please e-mail it to me at cspencer@ozarksunbound.com.
