Scaling the newspaper paywall: Ozarks Unbound participates in Sociable Media podcast
Banner — By Christopher Spencer on November 17, 2009 at 5:09 amTom Redwine of the Traffic Report blog in Northwest Arkansas is an avid and experienced podcaster. He was nice enough to include Ozarks Unbound in a recent podcast about the changing tools of media.
The sound is kind of rough, but I think you should be able to make out most of what we are saying. *grins* You’ll find the podcast on Tom’s Web site.
Four of us participated: Myself, Tom, Jamie Smith, former education reporter for the Benton County Daily Record and Logan Lovelace, a photojournalist for KFSM 5 News.
I chose to address the pay vs. free model for news distribution and we all tossed the idea around a bit. Give it a listen, if you have the time.
