NWA Oktoberfest planned for Sept. 11 on Dickson

Oktoberfest headliner announced.
Travis Tritt sponsored by LPGA/ Proctor & Gamble will perform a free concert Friday, September 11th at 8pm.
Hog Haus Brewing Company of Fayetteville, Arkansas announces first ever NWA Oktoberfest Family Festival, Friday – Saturday, September 11th & 12th. Festivities centered at the municipal lot often referred to as The Walton Arts Center parking lot located at the intersection of West Street and Dickson Street in Fayetteville.
5 PM Friday a ‘Dr.Pepper/Snapple Kids Zone opens with ‘Jumpers’, Face Painting & Sidewalk Art. Festival grounds will also include the Hog Haus Tent and Boulevard Festival Truck.
Saturday’s events start at 11 AM and conclude at 6 PM. There will be a ‘Home Brew Competition’ sponsored by The Home Brewery, located in Fayetteville. Interested Parties can download entry form, labels and details at www.DicksonStreetOktoberfest.com.
Saturday’s musical line up includes The Sarah Hughes Band, Ottis Elevator and the Flights and The Truth About Movie Stars.
Saturday will also include a ‘Best Brat on Dickson’ competition sponsored by Arvest. The days activities also include ‘Barrel Races’ sponsored by The X. Contact Julie Randall to enter, cjr55@earthlink.net.
Official ‘Oktoberfest’ T Shirts and more merchandise for purchase will be available at the Hog Haus Tent. The Boulevard Festival Truck will also be there.
