NWA Newspapers is hiring again, stepping up their web game | CF

Clipped Fresh — By Christopher Spencer on November 9, 2009 at 8:10 PM

** CLARIFICATION: According to comments below, these positions are not new positions but replacements for vacant job positions. **

Arkansas Democrat-Gazette – NWA Web Developer Fayetteville Arkansas 72701 .

Also wanted: part-time Web producer

COMMENT: After clearing house in late October by laying off reporters, the newspapers now known as NWA Newspapers (plus the ADG) are hiring again. This time it’s for a Web developer and a part-time Web producer. Neither job requires a journalism background, according to the listing, but the Web developer requires at least a year experience with the alphabet soup of Internet languages. The part-time Web producer needs good copy editing skills.

They aren’t hiring new staff, just replacing people who left. These are not new positions.
