KUAF: Community Clinic Releases Balloons in Honor of World AIDS Day (2009-12-01).

FROM THE POST: On Tuesday Community Clinic in Springdale hosted World AIDS Day and released balloons in honor of those who have died from the disease. Ozarks at Large's Bryan Rachal was at the event and spoke with Thomas Markham about HIV/AIDS services in the state.

    So we honor those who have died or been affected by AIDS by littering the sky and ground with latex?!? Don’t get me wrong, I completely support the cause, but I hate it when people use balloons to celebrate something. Such a waste.
