Howie needs a home | Community Announcement
Community Announcement — By Christopher Spencer on July 24, 2010 at 1:07 amUPDATE: Howie was adopted and now has a home.
From Corrinnia and Rick: Howie (aka Howard Hemingway and/or Howie Houdini) needs a new home. A super-intelligent brownish red-and-white dog (possible red border collie mix) that looks fox-like, he climbs our chain-link fence when we’re away. He wanders the neighborhood, and we’re afraid he’ll be picked up by Animal Control, or, worse, hit by a car (we live on a busy street in Fayetteville). Howie is neutered, micro-chipped and up-to-date on all shots.
Howie weighs about 40 pounds and is a great little companion dog. He has a feisty personality and knows quite a few tricks (high-five, hit the deck, sit, etc.). He prefers to hang with people after they gain his trust. He’s socialized, spends time at Dog Party USA two days a week, and he currently lives with two other dogs and five cats. Potential for a frisbee partner here.
If you can promise him a great, loving home and either live in the country or have a high privacy fence, give us a call. He’d love to be your little shadow. Call 479.422.9311 or 479.409.8140 to meet Howie.
