Fayetteville’s newest PSA – Be A Trail Trekker hits just the right chord | Opinion

You gotta check out the new public service announcement from Fayetteville Parks and Rec and the Local Government Channel crew describing the Trail Trekkers program.
Trail Trekkers are sort of like the Safety Patrol of the city’s growing trail infrastructure. It’s a volunteer force who are lightly trained and sent out to Observe and Report what they see in wilds of Fayetteville.
I think it’s a great idea personally and mildly humorous. This video embraces the fact that the idea might be a little silly, but it’s also very cool.
Well done.
Thanks to John Coleman at the Municipal Live Wire city blog for letting me know via RSS about the new PSA.
