About Leilani Law:

Due to her enthusiasm for experimental processes in art making and her natural passion for the visual arts Leilani began her career as an art instructor working first for the School of the Art Institute/Chicago 25 years ago.

Leilani has considered Fayetteville, Ark., her home base for the past 10 years, but began living here 17 years ago.

During that time she has offered classes through the Walton Arts Center, The Nadine Baum Center, The New School and private lessons. She inspired collaborations and exhibitions amongst her colleagues in an artspace she opened called Vox Anima in the late 1990′s.

For the past 18 months she held a studio at the Fayetteville Underground, served on the Artists Advisory Committee, curated three guest exhibitions, held a solo art exhibition last May and produced the Ozark Couture Fall Event 2010 at the Fayetteville Underground.

She currently offers Art Mentorship (an after school art program she designed 6 years ago) at The New School, works in her home art studio and looks forward to inspiring the creative potential in the community through her new community studio location.
