Best Places to Launch a Small Business 2009 – Fayetteville, AR – FORTUNE Small Business.

COMMENT: It’s nice to get a little national recognition. I knew something was afoot about a year ago when no less than two of my friends started launching side businesses. Those businesses grew and grew, as they worked hard to build a solid and loyal audiences. Then, in June, Ozarks Unbound was launched. Finally, the nation is catching on to what we locals already know – young entrepreneurs willing to take risks are thick in this neck of the woods. It’s a Do-It-Yourself ethos that is clear in the many small shops downtown and elsewhere in the city and region. I love it!
