Summer Jazz Concert Series: The Fayetteville Jazz Collective with guest vocalist Tom Tiratto

The Fayetteville Jazz Collective, a 17 piece jazz orchestra, will perform with special guest vocalist Tom Tiratto.

Founded in the summer of 2009, the FJC performs jazz at a high standard creating an energetic and exciting atmosphere for dancers and jazz enthusiasts alike. The band showcases charts by Sammy Nestico, Thad Jones, Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Chick Corea, and Gordon Goodwin as well as local composer Dr. James Greeson and band member Rick Salonen.

Tom Tiratto, a true Sinatra singer, will join the big band for this event. Tom performs with the same smooth vocals, phrasing and mannerisms so unique to that Sinatra style. His shows are reminiscent of those days in Las Vegas during the 50's and 60's. The best of Sinatra hits are all there. Songs like Summerwind, My Way and all the antics of The Rat Pack. This show takes you back to a wonderful era of music and laughter reflecting the many moods and memories of the man we knew as 'Old Blue Eyes'.
