Board Finds Money For Thorup | NWAonline

Clipped Fresh — By Christopher Spencer on October 19, 2011 at 2:22 am

It continues to appear that former Fayetteville Public Library director Shawna Thorup’s only fault was promoting a young librarian with merit over an older employee where seniority would be assumed. That employee appears to have been slighted enough that signatures were gathered and powerful people on the board were convinced it was worth dropping Thorup over it all.

Otherwise, why would Thorup’s most recent evaluation be so stunningly positive?

It’s all speculation amid too few details.
