Bikes, Blues & BBQ is back in the black :: Fayetteville Flyer.

COMMENT: The Fayetteville Flyer has a write up from the press release. Essentially, the BBQ leaders say they are starting fresh this year after losses and hope to be able to make charitable donations again after the event. The raw press release is available at the Fayetteville Flyer here.

    That’s good. I know some people close to the event were very upset with how the finances were handled last year.

    I think and hope the leaders realize that it generated considerable resentment when people from nonprofit organizations encourage and recruit BBQ volunteers and then don’t get a cut at the end.

    We will see what happens this year.
