COMMENT: Sick of funding movie remakes of crappy 70′s shows and stealing British reality TV ideas, some on the Left Coast are branching out. For Platinum Equity, it looks like they’re skipping right over buying Garrsion Keilor and old-timey radios and dipping back into newspapers. Next stop? The Chattanooga choo-choo.
