Fayetteville Police Chief Greg Tabor announced today that the Fayetteville Police Department is investigating the robbery of a local bank.
At approximately 12:00 P.M., Fayetteville police officers responded to a report of a robbery at First Federal Bank at 3460 North College Avenue. Bank employees reported a man came into the bank, presented a note and demanded money. The man left the bank with an undisclosed amount of currency. No vehicle was seen.
Surveillance photographs from the bank are included in this news release. Anyone with information is asked to call the Fayetteville Police Department at 479-587-3555 or the Federal Bureau of Investigation at 479-443-3181.
The investigation is continuing.
