Comment policy

Our comment policy is meant to encourage civil and constructive dialogue. We want to cultivate an online community that argues points vigorously without being rude to one another.

In order to develop this type of community, Ozarks Unbound observes the following comment guidelines:

• Extreme profanity will be removed.

• Ad hominem attacks may be removed, depending on whether the target is a public figure or not.

• In particular, racist and homophobic comments will not be tolerated.

• Comments generally considered offensive against a particular group (for example, the mentally handicapped) who are unable to defend themselves will be removed.

Ozarks Unbound will generally remove the entire comment rather than cut the offending part from the comment.
