Greg’s Songbook – “Slither” by Velvet Revolver

Ah, Velvet Revolver.  The short-lived pairing of Slash and Scott Weiland made for a fun ride and some great music. “Slither,” the first single of their debut album Contraband, is great at kicking me into a higher gear when running.  The ominous opening bass and drums, Slash’s guitar work, Weiland’s vocals–all great, high-energy stuff.
